Since 2008 the Goethe-Institut is represented at Kigali in Rwanda . Goethe-Institut is an apolitical and non-profit organization. The major role of the Goethe-Institut Kigali is to promote cultural exchange between Rwanda and Germany and to support cultural activities in the region.
