Since 2021, Tsai-Ju Lee has been working as a r&eacute;p&eacute;titeur and choir-assistant at Theater Magdeburg. In this role, she has been involved in vocal coaching and musical assistance of numerous opera productions, including "Turandot," "Carmen" and &ldquo;Eugen Onegin&rdquo;.<br /><br />Additionally, she has led the choir in productions such as "Peter Grimes," "The Gypsy Baron," and "The Magic Flute." Her repertoire ranges from Baroque to Classical and Romantic music, as well as musicals and operettas.<br /><br />She also dedicates herself in introducing opera to a wider audience. The latest projects were Bruckner2 and Walk&uuml;re, which she led with the Orchestra Sinfonial Leipzig.<br /><br />Tsai-Ju Lee was born in 1991, in Taipei City, Taiwan. Her training as a conductor began at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where she completed a Bachelor's degree in conducting with Martin Sieghart, Marc Piollet and Johannes Prinz<br /><br />Subsequently, she continued her studies at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig, where she earned a Master's degree in orchestral conducting. Here, she worked under the direction of Matthias Foremny and Ugo D&acute;Orazio. During her studies, she participated in various opera productions, including "La Boh&egrave;me" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream."<br /><br />Her versatility in music is reflected in her role as the musical director of the youth brass band Jugendbrass-Leipzig and as the choir director of the Ermlitz Men's Choir.<br /><br />Tsai-Ju Lee has participated in masterclasses with renowned conductors such as Daniele Gatti, Ulrich Windfuhr, and Norbert Baxa, which further advanced her artistic development.
